Our journey began at sea
I know that feeling… because I lived it. As a sailor aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), I didn’t just serve—I became part of a legacy that stretches across generations of men and women who answered the call of the sea. This platform was built to make sure those stories are never lost.

Too many real Navy stories go untold. Not the polished ones… The real ones. The long watches. The brotherhood. The chaos, the pride, the sacrifice. Haze Gray & Underway exists to preserve the history of the United States Navy, share real experiences from those who served, and take people inside ships most will never step foot on.

As a veteran, I was inspired to create Haze Gray & Underway to bridge the gap between the military and civilian communities. Our unique approach to naval history and veteran stories comes directly from my personal experience on the USS Enterprise, providing an authentic perspective you won't find anywhere else. We hope to connect most with those who want to help us keep these important stories alive and ensure the legacy continues.
